Legacy Ag Credit to Host Second Annual Poultry Conference
Legacy Ag Credit will host its 2nd Annual Poultry Conference on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Mineola Civic Center. The event is open to poultry growers, industry professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about poultry production and financing opportunities.
“The poultry industry plays a vital role in East Texas agriculture, and we’re proud to support producers through events like this,” said Yancy Murray, SVP of Lending for Legacy Ag Credit. “Our goal is to provide education, resources, and connections that help producers succeed.”
This year’s conference will feature guest speakers from across the poultry industry, covering topics such as:
- Current market trends and appraisal considerations specific to poultry operations
- TSSWCB's cost-share program, along with requirements for incinerators and registration
- Mortality dehydrators and new technology available for poultry growers
- How insurance is affecting the poultry business
