Assists loan officers in the analysis, servicing, and reporting of the association’s loan participations, mortgage and commercial loans. Performs credit and financial analyses on complex/multi-entity loan originations; monitoring and due diligence review of various loan packages/opportunities; and review, reporting, compliance and loan servicing activities. May perform collateral evaluations as required. Fully competent senior-level professional; assignments are broad and complex in nature requiring originality, ingenuity, and leadership; has appreciable latitude for decision making; works under minimum supervision.

Part of the Farm Credit System for more than 100 years as a rural agricultural lender and a private cooperative, we make loans for farms, timberland, recreational property, agribusiness firms and rural homes.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience; Plus the ability to demonstrate recent fundamentals of, financial analysis and accounting standards, including financial statement analysis, forecasting, cash flow and collateral analysis is required; Excellent computer skills are required. The knowledge and ability to administer and analyze credits on commercial and mortgage loans including risk assessments and recommendations on approval of loan applications. Credit analysis experience in originating, coordinating and negotiating sensitive and complex business transactions for both long and short-term credit loans with an emphasis in credit extension, administration and related lending activities is preferred. Strong and effective communication skills are essential.

Working Relationships

Will frequently interact with customers, association’s departmental staff and management, area professionals including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the normal course of business; Occasionally interaction with association senior management, CEO, board of directors and the Farm Credit Bank of Texas staff.
