SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas - Legacy Ag Credit is pleased to announce the results of its recent board and nominating committee elections.
Incumbent Director Terry Milligan was re-elected by the stockholders to a three (3) year term. Mr. Milligan has served on the Board since 2010 and he currently serves as Chairman of the Board, a position he has held since 2016.
Clayton "Clay" Smith, of Golden, Texas, joins the board as a newly elected director and will also serve a three (3) year term. A Legacy Ag Credit stockholder since 2017, Mr. Smith is a fifth-generation farmer and owner of both a poultry operation and a commercial construction business.
Additionally, the stockholders elected Dr. Herbert C. Marlow, R. Clayton Conway, Jr., and Kevin Carter as members of the 2026 Nominating Committee, with Amanda Hazel, Joey Hooton, and R. Michael Groom elected to serve as alternates.
The election was conducted in accordance with Legacy Ag Credit’s bylaws. To ensure a secure and impartial process, Legacy engaged independent firm Survey and Ballot Systems to manage ballot distribution, vote tabulation, and reporting of the official results.
