Legacy Ag Credit Scholarship Program

The Legacy Ag Credit Scholarship Program is proud to support the next generation of agricultural leaders. Our goal is to empower Northeast Texas youth who are involved in agriculture and agribusiness in a variety of ways and help them become tomorrow’s industry leaders.

This scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic excellence and a deep passion for agriculture. Whether your interests lie in production agriculture, agribusiness, or supporting industries, Legacy Ag Credit is committed to investing in students who are shaping the future of agriculture.

2026 Legacy Ag Credit scholarship applications are now open.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the Legacy Ag Credit Scholarship:

  • Be a high school senior scheduled to graduate in spring 2026
  • Hold full-time student status for fall 2026
  • Reside in Legacy Ag Credit’s 10-county territory (Franklin, Gregg,Harrison, Hopkins, Kaufman, Marion, Rains, Upsher, Van Zandt, Wood)
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater and submit a high school transcript
  • Submit a 2026 Scholarship Application (incomplete applications will not be considered)
  • Submit a resume
  • Submit an essay (see application for essay topic)
  • Completed applications must be submitted by March 20, 2026 Please see application for submission instructions.
