SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas - Seven students from across Legacy Ag Credit’s territory were awarded a combined $20,000 in scholarships this year as part of the association’s ongoing investment in youth, education, and rural communities. With nearly 50 applications submitted, Legacy Ag Credit was incredibly impressed by the work ethic, leadership, agricultural involvement, and future aspirations represented in this year’s applicants.
Scholarship recipients include:

Scholarships were awarded based on a combination of academic merit, community involvement, leadership, and a demonstrated interest in agriculture. Recipients were selected through a blind review process conducted by a scholarship committee made up of Legacy Ag Credit employees and local member-borrowers. Applications were evaluated anonymously, without consideration of names, schools, or personal details, ensuring a fair and impartial selection process.
